The Glove Cities Arts Alliance is please to invite you to our first official Artist Talk with GCAA Co-Founder and Regional Arts Educator, Janelle Krause!

Ms. Krause's artwork is currently featured in the Glove Cities Gallery as part of our ongoing "Persona" exhibition and is an experienced visual arts educator, currently teaching in Gloversville Schools since September 2020. Previously, Janelle served as a Visual Art Teacher at Cooperstown Central School, where instruction included grades 7-12 in various art disciplines. Other professional experiences include roles as an Art Editor and blog manager for Murmurations Magazine, a Gallery Assistant at Baker Hesseldenz Fine Art, and contributions as a writer for Uloop. Janelle holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from the University of Arizona and multiple Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in Painting, including a teaching certificate, from the University of Iowa.
