Ryan Spilken is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and father from Broadalbin, NY, whose music blends the soul of rock with tinges of blues, jazz, folk, and experimental sound.  His solo albums, I Shoot From the Heart and Don’t Aim and Beloved Villain, showcase both lyrical honesty and musical sophistication.  With over three decades of musical experience, Ryan has performed in a wide variety of settings; from pit orchestras and marching bands to concert halls and festivals.  He has produced, arranged, and collaborated with artists from all over the world.  Mr. Spilken has composed and performed two live filmic scores to Nosferatu and Der Golem at Gloversville’s Glove Theatre, employing acoustic, electronic, percussive, and looped instrumentation to his studied scores.  He is also a proud member of the Glove Cities Arts Alliance.  As of winter ’25, Ryan is writing a new album of original songs and enjoying life in upstate New York.
