The Glove Cities Arts Alliance invites you to the Opening/Artist Reception for our second 2026 exhibition, Material Conversations, featuring textile artworks by Dawn Bisio and Judith Plotner.

FACE FORWARD: The People of Gloversville, is a Community Arts Project honoring the residents of Gloversville, New York- a town shaped by industry, creativity, and resilience in the heart of the Mohawk Valley. Using recycled fabric and thread, Bisio creates detailed textile portraits that celebrate the people of the community while championing textile sustainability.” Artist Statement, Dawn Bisio
